Sharad Navaratri 2021: This year Sharad Navaratri begins on October 7, 2021 and ends on October 15, 2021 with Viajayadashami (or Dussehra).
The month of Ashwin (September 23 to October 22) of the Hindu calendar is considered auspicious as it marks the beginning of Shardiya Navratri, or nine days where people worship mata Durga.
Each day of Navratri, a different swaroop of mata is worshipped namely Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandharghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidathri.
